Is an external firewire port better then installing a firewire port? - firewire external hdd

I need a FireWire port for my Dell desktop model. I wonder whether it is an external FireWire better and how they connected to a computer? I am a little worried about installing a FireWire port on my model.

If you are concerned about internally and then simply install Get A.
In fact, not in a position to the speed difference between the two reserved. Even if it is an external in more than one computer will be used if necessary.

I've never seen from the outside. You do not know how to connect to the computer.

Installing an internal expansion card is not a difficult task, but if you are concerned about this, ask someone to help you the first time. Here are some important points for most Windows PC:

Make sure that the computer is turned off and unplugged first.
Open the box.
Look for PCI expansion slots in your computer.
Select an available slot.
Remove the cap are connected to this site.
Insert the PCI card. You may have to use some force, but make sure you slide the card into the pleasant and comfortable accommodation.
Insert the screw
To set the lid on the computer and turned on.

Should be.
